Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving sales and expanding the customer base for our Learning Technologies & Services. This role focuses on understanding educational needs, and matching those needs with our range of software solutions and educational platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify potential clients through research, networking, and social media platforms.
- Reach out to potential clients through cold calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings to present our Learning Technologies & Services.
- Prepare and deliver effective presentations tailored to the client's educational needs and objectives.
- Develop proposals that outline the solution in educational terms, focusing on the client’s specific challenges and how our products can solve them.
- Build strong relationships with existing customers for up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the education sector.
- Work closely with the Pre-Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the management.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the EdTech or learning technologies industry
- Strong network in the educational sector is a plus
- Willingness to travel as needed
