Our Training & Simulation Systems business has close to 40 years of experience in delivering innovative learning, training, and simulation solutions to customers in the defence, public safety and security, and enterprise domains. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager specializing in learning technologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the education technology landscape, including Generative AI (Gen AI)  and a proven track record in developing strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth within the Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector.

Strategic Development:

• Develop and implement business strategies that leverage innovative learning technologies, such as XR (Extended Reality), AI Learning Platforms, Adaptive Learning, Gen AI, AI/ML, and Learning Systems.
• Identify opportunities for the integration of advanced AI-driven solutions aligned with our organization's strategic vision and industry transformation goals.

Partnerships and Collaboration:

• Foster relationships and strategic alliances with technology providers, academic institutions, industry partners, and governmental bodies.
• Work closely with stakeholders and tripartite partners to ensure alignment with Skills Frameworks and Industry Transformation Maps.

Market Analysis and Insight:

• Monitor trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the TAE sector, including Gen AI and AI/ML applications, to identify opportunities for growth.
• Provide insights on evolving job roles and competencies required for adult educators and recommend strategies for professional development and innovation.

Business Innovation:

• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate technology with business solutions, enhancing both training effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Champion innovative pedagogical approaches, including blended, AI-driven personalized learning and workplace learning, ensuring relevance and accessibility.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Understand client needs deeply, tailoring proposals and solutions that deliver clear business and educational outcomes, particularly with AI-enhanced methodologies.

Productivity and Quality Assurance:

• Oversee the adoption and integration of training management solutions and centralized trainees’ feedback mechanisms to improve service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement through feedback channels like TRAQOM and community feedback systems.

Qualities We Value

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education Technology, AI/ML, or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in business development, specifically in learning technologies or educational services.
• Familiarity with the latest trends in Extended Reality (XR), AI-driven adaptive learning platforms, Generative AI (Gen AI), AI/Machine Learning (AI/ML), and other emerging learning technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to foster strategic partnerships and collaborations with industry stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to analyze market trends and apply insights to business development strategies.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
