Seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth within the public safety and security (PSS) market. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented professional with a proven track record of selling PSS solutions to government entities, law enforcement, emergency services, and critical infrastructure organizations. He/she will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building long-term relationships, and navigating the procurement processes to significantly increase market share for the company.

Strategic Plans and Strategy

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve and exceed orders target

 

Relationship Management & Networking

  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and end-users with our cilents
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, workshops, visits and meetings to promote our solutions and expand our network

 

Product and Solution Selling, and Proposal Development

  • Work with Business Units to develop proposals, bids, and responses to RFPs/RFQs/RFIs

 

Sales Cycle Management

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure
  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to track all activities, pipeline progress, and forecast

 

Teamwork

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Marketing, Product Development, Legal, and Systems Engineering, to ensure client success and satisfaction.

 

Qualities We Value

  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, specifically within the public safety, security, government technology, or mission-critical communications sector
  • Experience selling public safety and security technology-based solutions
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding orders target
  • Deep understanding of the public sector procurement lifecycle, contract, and grant funding mechanisms
  • Strong existing network of contacts within public safety or government agencies is highly desirable
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
