- Designs, develops, and implements secure and resilient system architectures for simulator projects.
- Applies security-by-design principles throughout the system development lifecycle, ensuring risks introduced by new technologies and project initiatives are proactively identified and mitigated.
- Produces detailed security architecture artefacts including threat models, hardening standards, and secure configuration baselines.
- Actively participates in the engineering and deployment of security controls, including identity and access management, network security, endpoint protection, encryption, logging, and monitoring solutions.
- Leads periodic security reviews and technical audits to ensure systems remain compliant with defined security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains and continuously improves baseline cybersecurity standards and secure build configurations.
- Leads and works alongside a team of cybersecurity engineers and system administrators to implement and operationalize a cohesive, systematic security architecture.
- Provides direct technical guidance and troubleshooting support during implementation, incident response, remediation, and system upgrades.
- Drives remediation efforts by prioritizing vulnerabilities and security gaps based on risk, project impact, and exploitability.
Qualities We Value
- Experience. At least 7 years’ experience in designing, and implementing cybersecurity solutions or architectures.
- Technical Proficiency: Well versed with cyber security standards, protocols and frameworks, and works in compliance with standards such as CIS Benchmarks.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is vital for conveying project requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, and facilitating collaboration among team members.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: The capability to analyse complex problems, identify root causes, and devise creative solutions to overcome cyber security challenges.
- Continuous Learning: Keeping abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends in cybersecurity to continually improve skills and knowledge.
