Our Training & Simulation Systems business has close to 40 years of experience in delivering innovative learning, training, and simulation solutions to customers in the defence, public safety and security, and enterprise domains. We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Division Manager to lead and scale one of our New Services divisions for Learning Technologies Business Unit. This leadership role emphasizes AI/ML-powered learning analytics and business growth strategy in the training and education industry.
The ideal candidate brings a robust background in data analytics, product management, and learning science, with proven experience in managing high-performing teams and delivering data-driven solutions that impact learner success and business performance.

Division Strategy & Business Growth

  • Strategise, plan, and grow the division’s consultancy and analytics portfolio to meet annual revenue and profit targets.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy, value proposition development, and execution of analytics-enabled education solutions.
  • Build a sustainable pipeline of consulting, data analytics, and product development opportunities in collaboration with business development and pre-sales teams.
  • Cultivate partnerships across higher education, public agencies, and workforce development organizations.

Data Analytics Leadership

  • Provide thought leadership on leveraging data analytics to transform learning and training outcomes.
  • Architect data strategies that enable predictive analytics, learning personalization, and competency measurement through the use of data analytics technologies.
  • Oversee design and implementation of dashboards and analytics frameworks for to meet learning and training objectives.

 

Product & Service Innovation

  • Drive product strategy and roadmap for learning analytics and AI/ML platforms.
  • Align technical delivery with client needs, regulatory frameworks, and learning science.
  • Maintain lifecycle management, continuous enhancement, and feedback-driven iteration for all analytic offerings.

 

HR Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead recruitment, coaching, and career development of consultants, analysts, and learning data scientists.
  • Supervise technical and non-technical teams across project delivery, innovation, and client engagement.
  • Foster a high-performance culture and ensure domain capabilities remain future-ready through skills development and mentoring.

 

Operational and Functional Oversight

  • Develop performance forecasting models and analytic-driven business plans.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and HR to support business operations, contract compliance, and workforce planning.
  • Ensure governance and ethical use of AI/ML models and learner data.


Qualities We Value

  • 5+ years of progressive experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the education or training industry preferred, especially in digital transformation or EdTech strategy.
  • Demonstrated success in managing analytics or consulting P&L, business development, and client delivery.
  • Strong product management and commercialization experience.
  • Domain Expertise in Data Analytics (as Subject Matter Expert)
  • Statistical modeling and machine learning (e.g., classification, clustering, regression, NLP)
  • Educational data mining (EDM) and learner modeling
  • Visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau. SAS)
  • Data governance, security, and privacy in learning contexts
  • Forecasting and prescriptive analytics for workforce development
  • Knowledge of learning architectures such as Total Learning Architecture (TLA).
