We are looking for a creative, resourceful Electrical Engineer to join us. You will be responsible for conceptual / detailed design and will have the opportunity to participate in prototyping, installation, and testing of their design. This role requires good technical writing skills to produce documentation for submission. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team and be exposed to interactions with customers, partners, vendors, and sub-contractors. Experience in maritime industry and power supply design is preferred.
Be Part of Our Success
- Design, implement, integrate, and test electrical systems including selection of components, power distribution, and wiring for maritime vessels (boats).
- Source and manages suppliers / OEMs for power design & implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and stakeholders to ensure that electrical systems meet design requirements.
- Develop and maintain electrical system specifications, design documents, and other technical documentation.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve design issues and technical problems related to electrical systems.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
- Ensure that electrical systems comply with industry standards and regulations, including safety standards.
Qualities We Value
- Knowledge in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical design and development for autonomous vehicles, robotics, or marine systems will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
