We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join the Unmanned Maritime Systems Division within the Unmanned System Business Unit at ST Engineering Unmanned & Integrated Systems Pte. Ltd. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in the rapidly advancing field of unmanned maritime systems, working alongside a team of experts in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, testing, and optimisation of electrical systems and components critical to unmanned maritime platforms. Your work will involve collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integration of electrical subsystems meets performance, reliability, and safety standards.

Be Part of Our Success

• Develop and design electrical circuitry and systems for unmanned maritime vehicles, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Perform detailed analysis and simulation of electrical components to predict behaviour and identify potential improvements.
• Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to support seamless subsystem integration.
• Contribute to risk assessment, safety analysis, and documentation required for certification and quality assurance processes.
• Engage with suppliers and external partners to source and qualify electrical components and technologies.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and incorporate innovative solutions to enhance system capabilities.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and presentations for internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in electrical system design, preferably within maritime or unmanned systems industries.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and simulation tools related to electrical engineering.
• Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations applicable to maritime and unmanned systems.
• Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment.
• Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative success.
• Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, with practical experience in system-level design and integration, preferably within the Defence, marine, or unmanned systems sectors.
• A proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively are essential.
