Job Description Summary

 

Incumbent will be responsible for providing technical support for manufacturing and production process control activities.

 

Key Job Accountabilities

 

  • Manage subcontractors, cost control and sourcing (with buyers).
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors to deliver project requirements on time with good quality.
  • Manage logistics arrangement and inventory control.
  • Plan, manage, and oversee all elements of Project’s Manufacturing activities locally or overseas.
  • Provide technical support for manufacturing and production process control activities.
  • Meeting and liaising with vendors and sub-contractors on all production issues and expectation.
  • Communicating and collaborating with internal/ external Project’s executive-level management to align expectations and objectives.
  • Interacting with customer to interpret theirs needs and requirements as and when required.

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Minimum ITE/Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other asset monitoring software. Advanced MS office skills preferred.
  • Knowledge and skills in inventory management, asset monitoring and tracking.
  • Capable to use asset monitoring software and able to develop a monitoring system if required.
  • Knowledge and experience in using or generating QR codes, bar codes, and or RFID, or other asset tracking means.
  • Good knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes.
  • A team player with a sense of responsibility and urgency.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Singaporean or hold relevant residence status preferred.

  • The incumbent reports to Senior Principal Engineer, MPS, Mobility Rail
