Our Unmanned & Integrated Systems business offers holistic solutions in system engineering and integration. We pioneer maritime robotics and autonomy solutions, provide system integration for complex naval and island air defence System-of-Systems (SoS), and take care of the operation and maintenance of Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence (C4I) systems. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Engineer (Lead) to join our Unmanned Maritime Systems Division under the Unmanned System Business Unit. This role is integral to driving the efficient production and assembly of cutting-edge unmanned maritime platforms and ensuring that high quality and productivity standards are consistently met.
As the Production Engineer (Lead), you will oversee the manufacturing processes and facilities within our Unmanned Maritime Systems team. The role requires management of inventory, manufacturing, final assembly, quality assurance, and supply chain to manage workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation. Your leadership will ensure that manufacturing timelines are met and processes are adhered to to ensure safety, compliance to standards and productive output.

- Plan, monitor, and coordinate production activities to achieve operational efficiency and delivery targets aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to address manufacturability and assembly challenges, driving continuous improvement across processes.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to optimize throughput, minimize waste, and enhance quality control.
- Supervise and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and innovation.
- Manage resource planning including manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure seamless production operations.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to maritime and Défense manufacturing.
- Analyze production metrics and generate reports to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for operational enhancement.
- Work cross-functionally with procurement and logistics to support timely material availability and inventory control.
Qualities We Value
- Knowledge in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in production management, preferably within the maritime, defense, or unmanned systems industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain coordination, and quality assurance systems.
- Experience leading diverse teams in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
