About our Business – Unmanned & Integrated Systems
Our Unmanned & Integrated Systems business offers holistic solutions in system engineering and integration. We pioneer maritime robotics and autonomy solutions, provide system integration for complex naval and island air defence System-of-Systems (SoS), and take care of the operation and maintenance of Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence (C4I) systems. We cater to the needs of Defence, Public Safety & Security, and Commercial clients worldwide, providing seamless and innovative services that redefine possibilities.

We are seeking for an experienced IT Network Engineer, Maintenance to join our team. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for network equipment in military systems. You will need to hands-on and ensure services rendered meet safety, quality standards and contractual requirements.

- Able to use the right tools and execute task instructions in accordance with maintenance manuals.
- Perform scheduled Preventive and Corrective maintenance tasks.
- Perform root cause analysis.
- Perform system and cybersecurity patches.
- Involved in tech refresh activities.
- Process and execution of configuration, asset and change management.
Qualities We Value
- Knowledge in Computer Science / Information Technology or related fields; advanced certifications (e.g., MCSE, RHCE) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance related roles.
- Experience in managing enterprise Linux (SUSE Linux) and Windows server environments in a complex IT infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of high availability and fault-tolerant system architectures, with experience in clustering, load balancing, and failover mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with SQL database maintenance.
- Familiarity with network protocols, monitoring, remote administration, routing, switching, and firewall configuration, particularly with Palo Alto, McAfee, and Checkpoint appliances.
- Experience with SAN storage solutions and storage area networks (SAN).
- Knowledge of Microsemi NTP (Network Time Protocol) for time synchronization across network devices.
- Possess problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Able to interact well with internal team and customers.
- Experience in SAP and ES is an advantage.
- Willing to travel and work in camp sites.
- Possess class 3 license is an advantage.
