About our Business

Our Unmanned & Integrated Systems business offers holistic solutions in system engineering and integration. We pioneer maritime robotics and autonomy solutions, provide system integration for complex naval and island air defence System-of-Systems (SoS), and take care of the operation and maintenance of Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence (C4I) systems. As a Calibration Engineer in the Instrument Calibration Division, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of various measurement and control instruments essential to our operations. You will be responsible for conducting precise calibrations, troubleshooting instrumentation issues, and supporting system sustainment activities that ensure our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

• Perform detailed calibration of a wide range of instrumentation equipment according to established standards and procedures.
• Develop and implement calibration schedules and maintenance plans to optimise equipment reliability.
• Analyse calibration data to detect patterns or anomalies, ensuring accurate and consistent instrument performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, testing, and production to support system sustainment and integration efforts.
• Document calibration activities thoroughly, maintaining rigorous records to facilitate audits and continuous improvement.
• Support troubleshooting and repair operations for instrumentation, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed.
• Stay updated with industry developments, calibration techniques, and regulatory requirements to inform best practices within the division.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Electronics / Instrumentation or Systems Engineering, combined with familiarity with calibration tools and methodologies, will be advantageous
• Experience in instrument calibration or a related engineering discipline, with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities are essential as you will engage with diverse teams to support project goals and operational excellence.
