We are looking for someone who is passionate and motivated to excel and deliver. The Maintenance Team Lead plays a critical role leading the maintenance team at the front-line of Training Systems, providing leadership and responsible for the maintenance, operation and training support to our customer. The Maintenance Team Lead understands and is committed to upkeep the training system at its highest state of operational system availability and readiness, so as to optimise training outcomes and experience for learners.

 

Be Part of Our Success

  • Lead a team of Maintenance Engineers to carry out scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) and ad-hoc Corrective Maintenance (CM) for Training Systems in military bases/environment.
  • Responsible for meeting contractual KPIs such as chargeable System Availability, Turnaround Time (TAT), response time.
  • Plan, schedule and lead the team to complete Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks on time.
  • Respond to Corrective Maintenance (CM), leading the team to troubleshoot and recover defects within the stipulated turnaround time.
  • Analyse defects to identify possible root causes, and perform defect trending to address arising issues.
  • Oversee the overall safety and security measures and implementation on site.
  • Generate Monthly Progress Reports and review documentations such as System Maintenance Plan (SMP), Security implementation Plan (SIP), Obsolescence Management Plan (OMP).
  • Ensure governance and compliance to company’s policies, guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain quality process and documentation in maintenance works.
  • Liaise and support customers during their training sessions.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors for maintenance works.

Qualities We Value 

  • Preferably at least 5 years of relevant experience, minimally at supervisory level.
  • Possesses deep expertise and knowledge, with maintenance experience in at least one of the following areas:
    • IT equipment and network, Electronics / Electrical issues, IT System administration & configuration, Computer / Server System Backup / Recovery, Network Configuration and Windows Operating System (OS) hardening and security patches update etc.
    • Maritime platform systems such as electrical switchboard, air distribution, cooling systems, steering and propulsion system. Experience in mechanical / marine workshop is advantageous.
  • Good to have knowledge and experience with maritime navigation systems and sensors such as ECDIS, GPS, Radar, AIS.
  • Good to have knowledge and relevant Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) certifications such as Risk Assessment, Work At Height. Experience in operating Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) such as Scissor Lift is advantageous.
  • Able to station and work in naval base/environment.
