About our Line of Business - Training & Simulation Systems

Our Training & Simulation Systems business has close to 40 years of experience in delivering innovative learning, training, and simulation solutions to customers in the defence, public safety and security, and enterprise domains. Together, We Can Make A Significant Impact

You will be responsible for coordinating multiples programs within Air Simulation Division (ASD), while concurrently managing team members in delivering simulator solutions regarding or relevant to our products and services in Air Simulation Division. 

 

As a Program Manager of multiples programs, you will oversee the planning and execution of multiples programs, and work to ensure that

  • The programs align with overall division goals.
  • The interdependencies among programs are managed
  • The communication between the various teams is facilitated
  • There will be software engineers and testing engineers working under a Technical Manager, assigned to your charge, to produce simulator solutions for customers. You will manage stakeholders’ interests and requirements, while keeping the solution on track for delivery within constraints of scope, time and cost. You will also be managing sub-contractors/suppliers as sourced for the production process.
  • To maintain consistent practice while also seeking balance with the customer experience, you will maintain awareness of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure conformance with policies and processes, while helping the team to stay productive and focused on the solution for the customer. Where applicable, you will guide the team on common and/or standardised methodologies, particularly where there are collaborative works with external parties.
  • As regular duties, you will liaise with the company’s Finance department in handling project budgets and activity-based costing for manpower, as well as periodic reporting of delivery progress. In cooperation with the department manager, you will also assist in decisions on capital/operational expenses, monitoring overall costs and manpower utilisation of the department against targets.

  • Handle purchase contracts as projects with the goal of solution delivery within parameters.
  • Quality assurance of solutions, including review and vetting of all project outputs
  • Assist the department manager in preparing reports, budget and forecasts for deliveries
  • Keep track of delivery targets, planning and implementation of delivery strategy to meet targets
  • Establish economies of scope across projects and helping team members to manage their time allocations efficiently


Qualities We Value

  • Prior experience in project management with good understanding of proven practices
  • Proficiency in English (writing and speaking)
  • At ease with high-level communication and networking
  • Able to learn quickly about products and services, comfortable with technical jargon
  • Understanding of Management Accounting and cost management techniques
  • Self-motivated and resilient, with composure to deal with circumstances and customer demands
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or comparable designation
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools
