As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring engineering projects to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements. The role serves as a key interface between customers, engineering teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Project Planning & Management

  • Develop project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
  • Track project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Monitor project costs and budget utilization.
  • Ensure fulfilment of contractual obligations and technical specifications. 

Engineering & Technical Coordination

  • Coordinate system design, integration, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and specifications.
  • Ensure technical solutions meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance to project team members. 

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary interface with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments.
  • Conduct project meetings and provide progress updates.
  • Manage customer expectations and address technical concerns promptly. 

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare project plans, reports, test procedures, manuals, and progress presentations.
  • Maintain project records and configuration documentation.
  • Support design reviews, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and acceptance activities.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and relevant regulations.
  • Support quality assurance and risk management activities.
  • Ensure workplace safety during project execution. 

 

Qualities We Value

  • Knowledge in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Marine, Industrial, or related discipline).
  • Experience in system integration, testing, commissioning, or project management is advantageous.
  • Project planning and scheduling.
  • Risk and cost management.

  • Knowledge of testing, commissioning, and integration activities.
  • Familiarity with engineering software and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience in systems engineering and integration (for Defence / Maritime Programs)
  • Familiarity with FAT, SAT, IR, CDR, and OSAT processes.
  • Knowledge of naval, maritime, autonomous systems, or defense projects.
  • Understanding of contract management, change management, and configuration control.
  • Ability to coordinate with customers, authorities, and subcontractors. (e.g., DSTA, RSN, vendors)
  • Singaporean only.
