We pioneer maritime robotics and autonomy solutions, provide system integration for complex naval and island air defence System-of-Systems (SoS), and take care of the operation and maintenance of Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence (C4I) systems. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Engineer, Projects to join our Systems Capability Development team within ST Engineering's Air Land Systems Business Unit. As a vital member of the Systems Capability Development Division, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering complex projects that enhance our capabilities in unmanned and integrated systems technologies.

 

This leadership role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment at ST Electronics Hub, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, design, and operations stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, strategic insight, and strong project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of projects aligned with our organisational goals.

 

Be Part of Our Success

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within the Systems Capability Development Division, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, software development, and quality assurance, to facilitate collaboration and efficient project progress.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges proactively.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements, communicate status updates, and manage expectations effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and incorporating lessons learned into future initiatives.
  • Support the development of systems capabilities by identifying opportunities for innovation and integration of emerging technologies.
  • Manage resource allocation and procurement activities to ensure optimal utilization and availability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards throughout all phases of project execution.

 

Qualities We Value

  • Knowledge in Engineering / Technology / Project Management, or related disciplines is preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within engineering or technology-driven environments, with a focus on Defence systems development or unmanned systems.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle management.
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP recognized approaches).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking to navigate challenges effectively.
