About our Line of Business - Training & Simulation Systems
Our Training & Simulation Systems business has close to 40 years of experience in delivering innovative learning, training, and simulation solutions to customers in the defence, public safety and security, and enterprise domains. We envision to create a better future together through learning, training, and simulation.

 

Together, We Can Make A Significant Impact
The Gateway subsystem typically writes middleware to enable systems or applications of differing protocols and environments to co-exist in the same synthetic training environment. We are looking for someone to join us as a Gateway Engineer, to co-build solutions together with our project team members. These solutions will contribute to our state-of-the-art Air Simulator project’s delivery to our end users.

 

Be Part of Our Success

  • Understanding the various simulation needs of the various subsystem teams
  • Writing translation middleware applications to enable cross-communication of differing standards across the network
  • Overseas travel for training, meetings or deployment is expected
  • Adopting the various software development tools and software frameworks that the company project team uses
  • Generating engineering documentation within the team, to document the various requirements, design, and test areas to be developed

 

Qualities We Value

  • A willingness to learn and develop software in C++, and learning good programming practices and techniques over time, to ensure efficient performance in a 60-fps simulation/game environment.
  • A willingness to learn and be proficient in Windows and Linux
  • While company-sponsored training courses and guidance will be provided, independent learning and being a team player is required, to fit into the team’s culture
  • Being comfortable to engage and communicate with end users, customers will be a plus
  • A good knowledge or practical experience in C++ will be a plus
  • Prior knowledge, or a keen interest in learning about how an aircraft works and is operated will be a plus
