Together, We Can Make A Significant Impact (Summary of the Role)

 

The Systems Administrator role, reports to the Head Security. The candidate will support the Cyber Lead and manage the IT and Cyber security infrastructure for the Line of Business (LOB). The applicant will work closely with the various project teams to ensure that infrastructure implementations are properly managed and instituted in accordance with current best practices and authority requirements. The successful candidate will be involved in security compliance audits and provide guidance and consultation to project team.

  • The Systems Administrator role is under the Corporate Function is to design and implement network management, network design and cybersecurity solutions in line with ST Engineering’s Cyber Security Policies.
  • You are responsible for communicating closely with project teams and vendors to support business units to set up/ manage encryption and decryption tools.
  • You will participate and contribute in the entire system administrative, network and cybersecurity design and implementation process for the simulator system.
  • Responsibilities includes the following areas,
  • System administration of account configuration in AD
  • Work with the Cyber Lead for Network design and IP configuration
  • Cybersecurity solution design and advise to project team
  • Liaising with and managing vendors to deliver networking and cybersecurity solution and/or services.
  • Involved in design, implementation, documentation, testing and troubleshooting of system network and cybersecurity solution.
  • You will be part of the Security team responsible for the area of system administration, networks and cybersecurity.
  • Performs any additional duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or senior management

 

 

Qualities We Value (Job Requirements)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role and have work experience
  • Good understanding of IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security measures and implementation methodologies 
  • Project Management experience will be an advantage
  • CISSP/ SCCP certifications preferred
  • Previous experience performing security audits will be an advantage 
  • Ability to work under pressure and provide attention to details.
  • Ability to work in a team and as individual
  • Previous experience working in MINDEF preferred
