ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd provides all aspects of cloud management, services, and solutions, from initial setup and migration to ongoing operations and optimization. Services include engineering works to design, build and provide facility management service for mission critical environments such data centers, disaster recovery, and business continuity sites.

As an AWS Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and managing our security architecture for cloud services. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that security best practices are integrated into our cloud projects, enabling seamless operations while safeguarding sensitive information.

Be Part of Our Success

• Responsible for Vulnerability & Secure Configuration Management where to provide vulnerability analysis, patch confirmation, configuration assessment and sensitive data identification for AWS EC2 environments and instances.
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities within our AWS environment and recommend remediation.
• Oversee and maintain security tools and technologies for continuous monitoring and protection of cloud resources eg. Tenable, AWS Security Hub, AWS Inspector
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions to proactively address potential risks.
• Conduct training and awareness sessions to elevate the security consciousness of all team members and stakeholders.

Qualities We Value

• Proven experience in cloud security, specifically within AWS environments.
• Strong understanding of AWS security services, tools, and best practices eg. Tenable, AWS Security Hub, AWS SecurityGuard etc
• Familiar with RHEL and system management
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as IM8, ISO 27001, CIS and NIST is a plus. 
• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
