As an AWS Vulnerability Management Engineer, your primary responsibility will involve identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities within our AWS infrastructure to ensure the security and integrity of our cloud services.
Be Part of Our Success
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability tests on our AWS services to identify potential threats and weaknesses.
- Implement best practices in AWS security, including configuring security groups, IAM policies, monitoring tools and maintain VMS apps e.g. Tenable.
- Develop and maintain automated scripts for vulnerability scanning and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address vulnerabilities promptly and effectively.
- Stay current with the latest security trends, tools, and AWS features to enhance our security posture.
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports on findings and remediations for management and compliance purposes.
Qualities We Value
- Proven experience in cloud security, particularly within AWS environments.
- Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and risk management.
- Familiarity with Tenable AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
- Experience with security vulnerability tools and platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant AWS or RHEL certifications are advantageous.
