This is an exciting opportunity to join ST Engineering Management Services as a Assistant / Manager, Finance within the Finance team. We are seeking an exceptional individual who can serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, bring strong commercial judgment, challenge decisions with confidence and credibility, and translate financial insight into actions that materially improve business performance.

The successful candidate will play an essential role in driving financial planning and analysis, supporting business decision-mking processes, and actively partnering with various functional teams to align financial objectives with strategic business goals.a

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the finance management team by preparing detailed financial plans, forecasts, and reports to provide actionable insights to leadership and operational teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop Forecasts that reflect business priorities and ensure resource optimisation.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, contributing to informed decision-making across Cyber projects and initiatives.
  • Drive the implementation of robust financial controls and promote adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for senior management and external stakeholders, delivering clear and compelling financial narratives.
  • Leverage on digital tools (using AI) and systems to streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Participate actively in business partnering activities, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to support collective success.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering within a corporate or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong proficiency in digital finance systems and advanced Excel skills, with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present findings effectively.
  • Outstanding communication skills to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders across multiple levels.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
