The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to achieve project objectives and address any challenges that arise.

- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Qualities We Value
- Experience in managing one or more project(s) in relation to the command or dispatch systems is highly preferred
- Experienced in all stages of the project lifecycle, e.g. planning, requirements gathering, design documentation, testing and rollout.
- Experience in managing server infrastructure / systems integration / application development projects
- Possess technical understanding of various ICT technologies, and respective product integration and delivery methods.
- Experienced in implementing systems for the public sector will be a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II / CITPM certification is a plus
