You will be designing and planning electrical system for tender on building the next generation defense mechanism for the defense and security of Singapore. You will be part of a tender team during a tender. You will be working closely with Solution Architect, Project Manager, Bit Manager and Lead Engineers. You will be part of system team to build, test and deploy system as part of project implementation. You will help to foster an inclusive and supportive atmosphere where junior engineers feel comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance. Furthermore, encourage them to share their ideas and perspectives, and provide constructive feedback to help them grow

  • Key member of technical team responsible for the implementation of Communication (SATCOM/MW) Systems and related Network solutions
  • Understand contractual and project requirements and specifications, propose and generate (SATCOM/MW) system architecture and designs
  • Perform detailed technical analysis and verifications to ensure design meet requirements
  • Generate and conduct design reviews presentations
  • Generate design, configurations, tests and related project documentations and reports
  • Responsible for SATCOM/MW system and network configurations, acceptance, interface and performance testing and commissioning of SATCOM/MW systems
  • Able to have electrical/control design knowledge and experience for ICIT design & cabling needs 
  • Lead a group of engineers to support bid manager during tender

Qualities We Value

 

  • Minimum 2 yrs experience in RF and network equipment
  • Knowledgeable and/or hands-on experience in telecommunication systems and networks is an added advantage
  • Experience in Satellite/Microwave Communications and TCP/IP networking is an added advantage
  • Proficient in operating RF and electronics test and measuring equipment such as signal generator and spectrum analyzer
  • Proficient in Microsoft Words, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio
  • Self motivated with ability to work independently and in a team environment
