Title: IT PMO Analyst (1 yr contract)

The PMO Analyst is a mid-level professional role within the PMO, accountable for end-to-end PMO operations, financial governance, and analytical support across a portfolio of projects.
This role goes beyond administrative PMO support and requires a high degree of ownership, professional judgment, and drive, particularly in project billing, invoicing, financial tracking, and PMO framework evolution.
The role will actively support the revamp of the PMO framework and operating model, and must be able to operate across Waterfall, Agile, and AI-enabled project environments.
Key Responsibilities
PMO Operations & Governance

Independently manage assigned PMO workstreams across multiple projects.

Apply PMO governance standards, frameworks, and controls consistently across delivery teams.

Exercise judgment in interpreting PMO policies, standards, and reporting requirements.

Proactively identify risks, gaps, and inefficiencies within PMO processes and drive resolution.
Project Billing, Invoicing & Financial Governance

Own and manage project billing and invoicing matters end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

Track project costs, charge-outs, budgets, and forecasts; perform variance and trend analysis.

Work directly with Finance, Procurement, and project teams on billing clarifications, reconciliations, and issue resolution.

Maintain audit-ready financial documentation and ensure transparency of financial data.

Act as a key point of accountability for PMO-related financial controls.

This role requires prior hands-on experience in project billing, invoicing, or financial tracking within a PMO or project environment.
PMO Framework & Operating Model Evolution

Contribute actively to the revamp and enhancement of the PMO framework and operating model. Support the design, refinement, and rollout of PMO processes, templates, and governance mechanisms.

Apply prior experience from PMO or consulting environments to strengthen PMO maturity.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organisational strategy and delivery needs. Delivery Methodologies & Project Types

Provide PMO support across Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery models.

Demonstrate working knowledge of Agile concepts, ceremonies, artefacts, and metrics.

Support AI, data, automation, or digital initiatives, recognising differences in governance, delivery cadence, and risk profiles.

Adapt PMO practices appropriately to different project types rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.
Data, Analytics & Management Reporting

Produce management-level PMO dashboards, reports, and insights with strong numerical rigor.

Analyse financial, delivery, and resource data to support decision-making.

Translate complex data into clear, structured, and actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Maintain high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
Digital Enablement & Tooling

Support the use of AI, automation, and analytics to improve PMO effectiveness and efficiency.

Contribute to or support low-code solutions (e.g. OutSystems) used for PMO workflows, tracking, or reporting.

Actively identify opportunities where digital tools can reduce manual effort or improve visibility.
Stakeholder Engagement & Professional Maturity

Engage confidently with project managers, delivery teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.

Communicate clearly on PMO, financial, and governance matters.

Demonstrate professional maturity, accountability, and follow-through expected of the role.
Job Requirements

Proven experience handling project billing, invoicing, or financial tracking in a PMO or project environment.

Experience in Agile delivery environments and AI / digital projects.

Strong numerical and analytical capability with attention to detail.

Ability to create KPI and dashboards.

Experience working within a PMO framework or structured project environment.

Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

High level of drive, ownership, and accountability.

Prior consulting experience (management, technology, or advisory).

Experience or familiarity with Agentic AI, OutSystems or other low-code platforms.
