About our Line of Business – Cloud & Data Centre Solutions
ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd provides all aspects of cloud management, services, and solutions, from initial setup and migration to ongoing operations and optimization. Services include engineering works to design, build and provide facility management service for mission critical environments such data centers, disaster recovery, and business continuity sites.
Be Part of Our Success
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and current network improvement/expanding
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, load balancers, switches
- Analyse problems, perform troubleshooting, and track problems through resolution
- Responsible for monitoring activities, such as device status and bandwidth usage
- When necessary, escalate problems to the appropriate stakeholders / principals /vendors
- Schedule and run periodic maintenance for network infrastructure at the data centre
- Plan and manage change request and / or maintenance activities for network operations including firmware patches
- Ensuring zero service level breaches and achieve 100% compliance with policy and procedure
- Perform Change Request, Service Request as assigned by team lead according to the SLA
- Manage Call ticket assigned by service desk according to the SLA
- Managing of network devices and perform firmware patching
- Managing subcontractors involved with network installation
- Work with other team for new implementation and troubleshooting
- Providing network reports and status for monthly SLA reports and other operations requirements
Qualities We Value
- Minimum 4 years of experience working as a network engineer within the operations environment
- Past working experience in CISCO ACI is an advantage
- Past working experience in Cloud environment is an advantage
- ITIL certification will be an added advantage
- Good grasp of technical skills (network)
- Possess CCNA or CCNP certification
- Good understanding and appreciation of network and system design
- Sense of urgency for service performance issues
- Able to handle demanding service response and recovery turnaround
- Able to manage daily support tasks to meet stringent SLA requirements
- Excellent scheduling and multitasking skills
- Good analytical skills with ability to work with others to resolve problems
- Good organization skills, with ability to properly document and track information
