We are seeking an experienced AI Lead to drive the transformation of existing Command & Control (C2) systems into AI-enabled platforms that deliver real-time situational awareness, predictive analytics, and decision support for homeland agencies. This role will be central in aligning AI innovation with operational needs, from concept to deployment.
Be Part of Our Success
Strategic AI Development
- Define and execute the AI transformation roadmap for C2 systems.
- Identify AI use cases relevant to situational awareness, incident response, and decision automation.
AI Solution Design & Integration
- Architect and oversee integration of AI capabilities (e.g., CV, NLP, anomaly detection) into operational C2 environments.
- Lead pilot projects and MVPs across video analytics, incident summarisation, and pattern detection.
Data & Model Management
- Develop data acquisition, cleaning, labelling and fusion strategies from sensor feeds, video, and public datasets.
- Drive model lifecycle management: training, testing, deployment, feedback loops.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with product managers, system engineers, DevSecOps teams, and public agency stakeholders.
- Ensure AI solutions meet operational, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards.
Innovation & Capability Building
- Benchmark against global best practices (e.g., Project Maven, Aurora AI).
- Build a future-ready AI capability (tools, platforms, people).
Qualities We Value
- 7 years of experience in applied AI with at least 3 years in systems-level leadership.
- Strong experience in AI/ML for real-time systems (e.g., CV, NLP, sensor fusion).
- Familiar with AI integration into C2 or mission-critical systems.
- Knowledge of MLOps, edge/cloud deployment, and secure data architectures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of ethical AI, explainability, and AI governance principles.
