Our Mission Software & Services business provides leading-edge mission critical command, control, and communications (C3) systems with secured IT infrastructure and managed services. Join our team as a System Engineer and play a crucial role in supporting our Defence & Public Security sector partners. Collaborate with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Technical Leads to develop, test, and deploy system and network infrastructure. Utilize your expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing performance to ensure system availability and efficiency. Be Part of Our Success

• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools

• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes

• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies

• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems

• Provide project documentation and reports

• Liaise with vendors and contractors for problem resolution

Qualities We Value

• Good knowledge and hands-on experience in computer/server hardware systems troubleshooting and peripherals replacement

• Experience in Windows server OS, Unix/Linux OS & VM environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment

• Pro-active, dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual thinking

• Able to work independently as well as in a team and good interpersonal skills

• Good to have - Experience and knowledge of CI/CD, scripting (bash/python) and programming (Java/C++)
