Responsibilities
- Being a trusted advisor to provide regular and timely operational advice, e.g. people practices, local employment laws and HR trends, to key stakeholders to drive and support people initiatives and facilitate decision making.
- Collaborate and partner the team to develop, propose and implement the Business Unit’s People strategies and plans pertaining to employee life cycle, policies and processes.
- Drive the planning and implementation of activities to continuously build positive employee relations.
- Resolve people issues to deliver pragmatic outcomes.
- Ensure high quality in all deliverables whilst meeting deadlines.
- Communicate and engage key stakeholders via formal and informal channels (to ensure they are informed and engaged timely.
- Support the entire employee life-cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, grievance handling, exit management.
- Assist to coordinate and execute annual HR exercises and initiatives not limited to employee engagement survey, annual reviews & budgeting exercises, staff events.
- Support delivery of HR projects and initiatives.
- Assist in reviewing and ensuring continual improvement and compliance in HR operations, data management and processes.
- Perform HR operational and administrative support for day-to-day activitie
- Support annual learning needs analysis.
- Liaise and coordinate with departments on nominations and other training related matters.
- Coordinate with training vendors on course enrolment and payments.
- Ensure the timely submission of government training subsidy claims.
- Prepare monthly reports and maintenance of training records.
- Coordinate and facilitate the new hire orientation and onboarding program
- Coordinate internship activities.
- Support HR projects and employee engagement activities.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource, Psychology or equivalent majors.
- At least 1-2 years relevant experience as HR Business Partner in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess good organizational capabilities, with an eye for details.
- A team-player, thrives in ambiguous, fast-growing environment.
- Excellent people and engagement skills with the ability to work with all levels of staff
- Knowledge on local manpower regulations to ensure statutory compliance will be an advantage
- Experience of working with a shared service model organization preferred
