Responsibilities:    

•    Member of Group Sustainability Team:
o    Global coverage of sustainability/ESG issues across the Group’s business areas/units
o    Shape and execute on the sustainability strategy and workplans
o    Develop sustainability policies, programmes and targets aligned with the Group’s sustainability plans and material factors
o    Keep abreast of global, regional and national ESG issues/trends
o    Engage sustainability teams in other companies, including consultants

•    Lead/Coordinate Sustainability Reporting:
o    Partner with material factor owners on the timely and appropriate disclosure of Economic, Environmental, Social and Governance
o    Lead efforts and contribute to the Annual Report/Sustainability Report disclosures aligned with GRI, SASB, TCFD, SGX, UNGC, etc.
o    Track and analyse sustainability performance against targets and provide recommendations
o    Lead/Support the launch and operations of the Group’s Sustainability Reporting Platform
o    Engage with ESG analysts and rating agencies, providing relevant disclosures

•    Lead/Coordinate/Develop Sustainability Initiatives including (but not restricted to):
o    Pathway to Net Zero; GHG emissions reductions
o    Eco-Initiatives to encourage an eco-conscious culture
o    Sustainability training/awareness plans
o    Support Business Area efforts in quantifying Product Carbon Footprint 
o    Support Sustainability Working Group and related Cluster/Business Area committees

•    Partner with Business Area/Lines of Business/Business Unit/Business Function leadership  on sustainability issues across geographies including (but not restricted to):
o    Engage customers and other relevant stakeholders on sustainability issues
o    Share best practices
o    Collaborate on joint initiatives
o    Supporting or participating in overseas trips 
o    Coordinate internal assurance and third-party certification efforts


Requirements (Experience and Qualifications):

•    At least 5 years in sustainability roles or in multiple operational leadership roles;
•    Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical field or equivalent experience; 
•    Able to operate with minimal supervision in relevant areas of expertise;
•    A team player with a strong collaboration mindset – including the interest and ability to work well across national and cultural boundaries, and build effective working relationships within a complex, global corporation; 

•    Versatile and adaptable – able to toggle between and bridge management-level directions and operational needs and realities;
•    Consulting and/or overseas experience is an advantage, but not a necessity
