Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain private cloud infrastructure to meet business and security requirements.
• Develop cloud architecture strategies aligned with organizational goals and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate private cloud solutions with existing systems.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery capabilities within the private cloud environment.
• Define and enforce governance, security, and operational best practices for private cloud deployments.
• Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization for private cloud resources.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on cloud technologies and architecture.
• Stay updated on emerging private cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 4 years in cloud architecture roles.
• Proven experience in designing and deploying private cloud solutions (e.g., VMware, Nutanix).
• Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, storage, and security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Private Cloud Platforms: VMware vSphere, Nutanix.
• Virtualization Technologies: KVM, AHV.
• Networking: SDN, VLAN, VPN, Load Balancing.
• Storage Solutions: SAN, NAS, Object Storage.
• Automation & Orchestration: Ansible, Terraform, vRealize Automation.
• Operating Systems: Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu).
• Security & Compliance: Identity and Access Management, Encryption, Regulatory Compliance (ISO, GDPR).
• Monitoring & Performance Tools: Prometheus, Grafana, vRealize Operations.
• Scripting & Programming: Python, Bash.
