Title:  Cloud Architect

Job Description

Work closely with the sales team and other techinical teams to provide technical proposals, presentations and solution bill of materials and RFPs for mega tenders and pre-tender submission.

• Architectural Design
  • Develop and implement robust security architectures for cloud-native environments, ensuring the protection of applications, data, and infrastructure.
  • Adopting the Cloud well-architected framework.

• Cloud Security
  • Design and deploy secure cloud solutions, leveraging best practices and compliance standards to protect cloud environments.

• Security Domains
  • Provide expertise across various security domains, including network security, identity and access management, data protection
  • Adopting the CNAPP (Cloud Native Application Protection Platform).

Requirements

• At least 10 years of related presales/architect working experience in IT projects. Candidates with lesser years of experience may be considered for junior positions.
• Experience with at least 5 years working on GCC/GCC+ architecture design
• Working knowledge of Cloud Technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
• Certification in any of the above products are advantages
• Conversant in multiple system products and solutions including server, storage, virtualization / cloud infrastructure, backup solutions, automation etc in the realm of hybrid environment (Cloud/On-Premises).
• Knowledge of networking, switching, and routing concept will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of systems component integration with cybersecurity point products will be added advantage
• Experience solutioning for government, education and healthcare companies, an added advantage.
• Experience in SI environment preferred.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer interface skills, able to socialise and engage with partners, stakeholders and team members well.
• Self-driven and motivated individual, able to look at the bigger picture.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.) preferred.
