Title:  Database Administrator

Responsibilities

• Managing, monitoring and maintaining databases
• Maintaining database backup and recovery
• Provide solution related to database design and SQL writing to Application Developers
• Implement change requests related to development in database such as table design, triggers, and stored procedures
• Support application deployment activities
• Develop and deploy data patch SQL scripts
• Provide solution for SQL query tuning
• Perform installation, upgrade and migration of databases
• Perform regular database patching and hardening

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle database and MS SQL Server database
• Good understanding and experience in database maintenance, troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Familiar with SQL script language
• Good understanding of Oracle RAC, SQL Server HA solution
• Good problem-solving skills and team player
• Experience with MySQL is a plus
• Working location is in Novena
