The Mechanical Engineer will focus on the design, analysis, and certification of mechanical systems and equipment to meet project and regulatory standards. The role requires strong collaboration with vendors and engineers, ensuring high-quality design and performance under challenging conditions. You will contribute to system packaging, stress analysis, and the development of testing solutions while working closely with the customer on-site for an extended period.

Be Part of Our Success

• Mechanical Analysis, Design of assigned equipment or systems as per project requirements.
• Work with various subcontractors and vendors to ensure the required mechanical works are implemented with quality, meeting the approved design requirements.
• Work with Professional Engineers for the certification of the mechanical designs to regulatory agencies e.g. LTA, where needed.
• Design and packaging of Electronics and Mechanical Systems to survive harsh environmental conditions e.g. vibration, shock, moisture, EMI/EMC.
• Perform simulation analysis for stress, thermal etc. for both products and systems.
• Perform vehicular layout with Center of Gravity analysis and Tie-down design.
• Design of test jigs and fixtures for product qualification testing.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Competent in at least one 3D modelling software e.g. SolidWorks and Analysis software.
• Familiar with Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) knowledge and application.
• Understanding of Military and Commercial Standards (e.g. Codes of Practice) will be an advantage.
• Able to be hands on and work as a team player. Some of the work may be done outdoors and at Customer site.
• Willing to be attached to the Customer’s premises for at least 24 months.
