Role Purpose

The Growth/Market Development Architect is a senior, client-facing and market-shaping role within ST Engineering Cybersecurity, who design scalable systems (both technical and business) for sector expansion. He/She is responsible for advancing international growth through advisory-led engagements that ultimately drive cybersecurity product and platform adoption.

 

This role is designed for a mature professional who can credibly engage senior government officials and C-suite leaders, while also possessing strong business development instincts, the ability to conduct market and competitive intelligence, and the capability to work closely with product teams to shape product–market fit and go-to-market strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory & Executive Engagement

• Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to senior stakeholders across governments, regulators, critical infrastructure operators, and large enterprises.

• Lead executive-level discussions on national cyber resilience, digital trust, critical infrastructure protection, and enterprise cyber risk transformation.

• Translate geopolitical, regulatory, and threat landscape considerations into strategic cybersecurity roadmaps aligned with client and national priorities.

 

Solution Architecture & Value Storytelling

• Architect end-to-end cybersecurity solutions that integrate advisory services, and ST Engineering’s cybersecurity products.

• Articulate complex technical and architectural concepts in business, policy, and risk-based language suitable for boards, ministers, and C-suite audiences.

• Develop compelling value narratives and outcome-based propositions that link advisory insights to tangible business and resilience outcomes.

 

Business Development & Partnership Architecture

• Identify and build strategic technical partnerships that facilitate faster market entry

• Support and originate advisory-led business development opportunities, particularly in new or strategically important markets.

• Partner with sales and regional teams to shape account strategies, identify whitespace opportunities, and progress complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

• Contribute to opportunity qualification, solution positioning, and executive-level proposal development for high-value pursuits.

 

Market Intelligence & Product–Market Fit

• Conduct structured market intelligence, competitive landscape, and ecosystem analysis across priority geographies and industry verticals.

• Identify emerging customer needs, regulatory drivers, threat trends, and competitor positioning to inform market entry and expansion strategies.

• Work closely with product management and engineering teams to:

o Validate product–market fit through customer discovery and advisory engagements

o Provide market-driven inputs into product roadmaps and solution bundling

o Support development of use cases aligned with regional and sector-specific needs

• Translate field insights into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership and product teams.

 

Thought Leadership & External Representation

• Contribute to whitepapers, case studies, frameworks, and strategic narratives that reinforce the firm’s positioning as a trusted cybersecurity and digital resilience partner.

• Support partnership and ecosystem discussions with system integrators, consultancies, and strategic allies where appropriate.

 

Required Experience & Profile

Professional Experience

• 10-12 years of experience spanning cybersecurity, digital risk, enterprise technology, or national security domains

• Demonstrated experience in solution architecture, advisory, consulting, or pre-sales leadership, with measurable business development outcomes.

• Proven ability to engage senior government officials, regulators, board members, and C-suite executives across multiple regions.

• Hands-on experience conducting market, competitor, or sector analysis to support strategic growth initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in cybersecurity consulting, critical infrastructure, or government-facing technology roles.

• Experience supporting national cybersecurity programs or large-scale enterprise cyber transformations.

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, Public Policy, International Relations, or Business (MBA advantageous).

• Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are beneficial but not mandatory.
