The ICIT Engineer is responsible for supervising the installation, commissioning, and integration testing of structured cabling systems and ATC (Air Traffic Control) systems. This includes coordinating with contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with local regulations such as BCA, CAAS/CAG, and SS 638:2018, and reviewing as-built drawings. The role also involves leading system integration tests, troubleshooting faults, and preparing key documentation such as test reports and installation records to support project completion and client handover.

  • Supervise installation of structured fiber optic and copper cabling in accordance with Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity (SDCP).
  • Coordinate with contractors, system vendors and customer to install ATC system and Fiber optic cabling.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations such as BCA, CAAS / CAG and SS 638:2018.
  • Review As-Built drawings for cable routing and fiber termination details.
  • Lead integration testing to commission:
    • ATC system
    • Fiber and copper cabling infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot any faults encountered during integration phase.
  • Prepare Installation Control Document (ICD), compile fiber and copper test reports and system acceptance test reports.

 

Qualities We Value

  • Knowledge in Civil & Structural / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Architecture / Building or equivalent certification approved by BCA
  • Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity (SDCP) certification.
  • Fiber Optic Certification FOA CFOT or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in ATC System integration or fiber infrastructure projects
  • Good knowledge in ICIT process and test methodology.
  • Proficient with fiber optic test equipment.
  • Experience in preparation and submission for BCA and CAAS / CAG works.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Singaporean only
  • Candidates with more experience may be considered for senior role
