Title:  Network Operations Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Be part of the client’s core network infrastructure support team providing oversight on deployment work and operations support.
• Collaborate with end user and vendor’s delivery team to ensure deployment meets requirements in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with end user and vendor’s O&S team to ensure timely fault analysis, problem resolution, patch updates, etc. with adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Maintain and update documentation and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across operations as well as completeness and adherence to the required security policies, standard and guidelines.

Job Requirements: 

• At least 2 years of working experience in the Information Technology industry in the areas of core network solution design, implementation & support
• Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, NTP configuration, TCP/IP networking with ability to diagnose and resolve network access problem by performing network troubleshooting.
• Have experience in network project management including planning, defining business requirements, liaising with the stakeholders and managing implementation, acceptance testing and handover.
• Have experience in managing vendor to carry out upgrades, problem analysis and resolving issues.
• Valid CCNP certification or equivalent.
• Prior working experience in defence organisations or government ministries requiring security clearance will have an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A resourceful, proactive and independent team player.
