Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and undertake scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and enhancement of Preventive Maintenance equipment checklists for Enterprise Network and UPS System.
  • Perform the preventive maintenance by following PM checklist for functional checks, health checks at Clients’ premises.
  • Perform basic equipment break-fix during preventive maintenance windows when required.
  • Carry out basic troubleshooting, minor repair for IT enterprise products.
  • Prepare preventive maintenance documentation for submission.
  • Record and report equipment failure discovered during the preventive maintenance cycle.
  • Provide maintenance and support for Customers' Enterprise IT Network Services.
  • Perform break-fix which include troubleshooting and problem identification for any network services.
  • Develop test cases and conduct proof of concept tests on new software and hardware prior to upgrade/deployment.
  • Perform the role of Project Lead / Coordinator in project management for small to medium size projects or Service Requests.
  • Work closely with Service Delivery Manager to fulfil deliverables, service report and operational request.
  • Establish TAC cases with the principal vendor for complex problem until resolution.

 

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Good technical skills in engineering, computer and IT systems, and preferably in network. Preferably with good knowledge in any of the following areas:
      • Enterprise Network products/solutions: Cisco/Alcatel Switches/routers, wireless link controller, etc.
      • Network Monitoring: SolarWinds, Cisco Prime Infras, Alcatel Omni-Vista.
      • Network Appliances based: Microsemi NTP Server, F5.Knowledge in ITIL processes and framework.
  • CCNA / CCNP highly preferred
  • Ability to engage external stakeholders to resolve site issues.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven to complete assigned tasks with limited resources and tight schedule.
  • Able to handle complex technical challenges and different groups of users and external vendors.
  • At least 3 years of experience with successful track record in maintaining large scale IT infrastructure for Government related agencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well at all levels.
  • Able to work flexible hours especially during after-office hour for scheduled maintenance windows, if required.
  • Possess strong analytical skills with positive attitude.
  • Required to have minimum 3 – 5 years of hands-on network technical support experience in SI Environment.
  • Hands-on Experience working with LAN/WAN/WLAN which include
      • Cisco Wireless, Routers, Catalyst and Nexus Switches, Firepower, IPS/IDS, ISE, ASA, ESA, WSA, SMA
      • Alcatel Wireless and OmniSwitch
      • Arista Switches and Cloudvision
      • Fortinet, Checkpoint and Palo Alto Firewalls
      • SolarWinds NPM/NCM/NTA, F5 LTM and Aruba ClearPass
  • Fast-paced environment
