Title: Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end planning, execution, integration, and delivery of ICT infrastructure, network, systems, and cybersecurity projects within complex multi-vendor, multi-platform environments. The role requires effective coordination of internal cross-functional teams, external vendors, and customer stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed scope and quality standards.
The successful candidate will possess strong project governance capabilities, stakeholder management experience, technical acumen, and the ability to navigate complex delivery environments while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery:
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, risk registers, and delivery milestones.
- Ensure successful delivery of infrastructure, network, systems, and integrated technology solutions within agreed scope, budget, quality, and timeline.
- Coordinate project activities across internal teams, external partners, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress proactively and implement corrective actions where required to maintain project objectives.
Resource & Vendor Management:
- Manage internal project resources and external vendors to ensure delivery commitments and project milestones are achieved.
- Resolve resource allocation conflicts across multiple concurrent projects and business priorities.
- Establish and maintain effective vendor governance mechanisms, ensuring supplier performance meets contractual and operational requirements.
- Oversee procurement activities and ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of project-related procurement and material delivery.
Stakeholder & Customer Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer stakeholders, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
- Establish and maintain a consistent engagement cadence with customers through project reviews, governance meetings, and progress updates.
- Conduct project kick-off meetings, project status reviews, steering committee meetings, and customer presentations.
- Manage customer expectations and negotiate project-related issues, discrepancies, scope changes, and delivery challenges professionally and effectively.
Project Governance & Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout project execution.
- Manage project scope changes and variations through established change management processes.
- Handle project escalations promptly and drive issues to closure with appropriate stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure incidents occurring during project implementation are managed, documented, escalated, and resolved in accordance with company processes.
- Drive adherence to project governance standards, delivery methodologies, and quality assurance practices.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely, and comprehensive project reports for internal and customer stakeholders.
- Ensure all project documentation, reports, deliverables, and technical records comply with company standards and quality requirements.
- Maintain proper project records for governance, audit, operational handover, and project closure purposes.
Business Development Support:
- Support the Sales and Pre-Sales teams during bid, tender, and proposal phases.
- Participate in project sizing, solution reviews, risk assessments, effort estimation, and project planning activities.
- Contribute project management expertise to improve proposal quality, delivery feasibility, and commercial competitiveness.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified IT Project Manager (CITPM) certification.
Skills & Experience
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience delivering ICT infrastructure, networking, systems integration, or technology transformation projects.
- Proven track record managing medium to large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Technical Competencies:
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, systems, cloud platforms, and integrated technology environments.
- Ability to comprehend technical solution designs and assess implementation risks.
- Engineering background with knowledge of structured cabling and patching infrastructure is advantageous.
Professional Skills:
- Strong project planning, scheduling, tracking, monitoring, reporting, and project closure capabilities.
- Expertise in vendor and supplier management, including contract and performance management.
- Strong stakeholder and customer relationship management skills.
- Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills, particularly in managing project constraints, resource challenges, and customer expectations.
- Ability to assess project complexity, identify risks early, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging stakeholders at both technical and management levels.
- Resilient, customer-focused, and able to perform effectively under pressure in dynamic project environments.
