As a Sales Manager for defense projects, you will spearhead the growth and development of our defence sector sales strategy. Your role involves managing and expanding relationships with key defense clients, identifying new business opportunities, and leading the sales efforts for complex defense contracts and projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and product development, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Design and implement strategic sales plan to expand Division’s customer base and increase market share with a focus in the Defense sectors.
  • Take charge as a Bid Manager to lead pre-sales technical team for the preparation and presentation of tender responses, solution proposals and quotation for customers.
  • Develop and negotiate contracts with customers and partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Work closely with customers and partners to deliver a cost-effective solution to balance efficiency and quality, drives growth and surpasses customer expectations.
  • Provide timely updates to management team on the sales target achievement, revenue and expenses reports and forecasts.
  • Participate and attend functions such as trade exhibitions and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market trends, as well as prospect for new clients.

 

Qualities We Value

  • Knowledge in Electrical, Electronic Engineering and/or Business administration or a related field.
  • Preferably with at least 3 years of successful previous experience as a System Solution Sales representative or manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Candidates with good technical knowledge in ICT or defense operational knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent people management skills.
