The incumbent will develop advanced AI capabilities in reasoning, planning, and adaptive behavior. Drives innovation through data-driven learning and collaboration with engineering teams to implement intelligent, agentic solutions

The role requires a technically excellent and research-savvy AI Data Scientist who can push the boundaries of intelligent behavior—turning complex data and models into real-world, decision-capable AI systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced AI models that enable reasoning, planning, state management, action execution, and tool orchestration in autonomous systems.
  • Leverage data, experience, and competitive environments to build AI systems that learn, adapt, and evolve over time.
  • Apply and extend state-of-the-art techniques in Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), Transformers, and Reinforcement Learning (RL) to power intelligent agents.
  • Architect and train models that support multi-step decision-making, long-term goal pursuit, and dynamic interaction with complex environments.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, ML engineers, and AI architects to transition research-driven models into scalable, production-ready systems.
  • Experiment with diverse learning paradigms (e.g., imitation learning, curriculum learning, meta-learning) to enhance agent capabilities.
  • Contribute to internal research initiatives and stay current with academic and industry advancements in foundational and applied AI.
  • Support data strategy by guiding data collection, labeling, simulation, and feedback loops necessary to train robust and generalizable models.

Requirements

Experience

  • 5–9 years of hands-on experience in AI model development, preferably in complex, real-world systems.
  • Proven track record of applying advanced machine learning techniques to build production-grade AI capabilities.

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in Graph Neural Networks (e.g., PyTorch Geometric, DGL) and structured data representations.
  • Deep experience with Transformer architectures for sequential, relational, and multimodal learning.
  • Strong proficiency in Reinforcement Learning, including model-based and model-free approaches.
  • Proficient in Python and leading ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Solid understanding of MLOps principles, model evaluation, interpretability, and deployment best practices.

Preferred Knowledge

  • Experience working with agentic AI systems or autonomous agents in simulation or real-world environments.
  • Familiarity with knowledge graphs, reasoning engines, and multi-agent coordination strategies.
  • Exposure to competitive AI development (e.g., autonomous systems, robotics, simulations, or games).

Soft Skills

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across interdisciplinary teams.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to translate abstract concepts into actionable AI models.
