Title:  Senior Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance IT /Cyber Engineer to ensure the smooth operation, stability, and security of our IT infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading hardware, software, and network systems while providing technical support to end-users. A key part of the role is ensuring strong endpoint protection by deploying and managing security tools across all devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of IT systems, focusing on Cyber Security Applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
• Manage installation, configuration, and upgrades of the Cyber Security hardware and software.
• Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Ensure regular data backups and support disaster recovery processes.
• Monitor system performance and implement preventive measures to reduce downtime.
• Maintain IT documentation, including asset inventory, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide technical support and training to employees.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for incident resolution, workaround and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Cyber Security Application troubleshooting will be an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with operating systems (Windows/Linux) will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls).
• Experience with endpoint protection tools and security management platforms.
• Familiarity with IT security practices and data backup/recovery solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Good to have experience with SIEM tools and tools for logging (e.g., Splunk, Elastics, Nslogs) for monitoring endpoint logs.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and IT asset lifecycle management.
