About our Business – Advanced Networks & Sensors
Our Advanced Networks & Sensors business specializes in platform digitalization, advanced connectivity, and cutting-edge manufacturing. This diversity of capabilities presents a range of roles through which you can contribute to the development of innovative, secure, and patented products. Join our team and play a crucial role in developing tomorrow’s technology and connectivity solutions and services to sectors spanning defence, public security, government, and the commercial realm. Your work will have a global impact as we empower customers through advanced communications, intelligent sensors, and the deployment of AI-enabled Edge applications for mission-critical roles.
Together, We Can Make A Significant Impact
As a Senior / RF Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and testing of RF jammer systems used in electronic countermeasure (ECM) and counter-UAS applications. This role involves end-to-end ownership of RF subsystem design, including transmitter/receiver architectures, wideband power amplifiers, antennas, and waveform generation. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (hardware, software, mechanical, and system engineers) to deliver robust, field-deployable jammer solutions that meet operational and regulatory requirements.
Be Part of Our Success
- Design, simulate, and optimize RF circuits and subsystems for jamming applications (up to microwave bands).
- Develop jammer architectures/waveforms (spot, sweep, barrage, multitone) tailored to threat profiles.
- Design and evaluate power amplifiers, filters, couplers, and antenna subsystems for wideband operation.
- Conduct RF system integration and validation, including link budget and spectrum performance analysis.
- Perform laboratory measurements, prototyping, and troubleshooting using RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, etc.).
- Support environmental and reliability testing (e.g., MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461) for qualification.
- Collaborate with software/DSP engineers to implement waveform generation, control logic, and signal modulation schemes.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and compliance reports.
- Provide technical input for proposals, compliance matrices, and customer engagements.
Qualities We Value
- Knowledge in Electrical / Electronic Engineering / RF / Microwave Engineering, or related field.
- Preferably with 3–8 years of experience in RF / microwave design, preferably in electronic warfare, jammer systems, or RF communication systems.
- Strong background in RF circuit design, impedance matching, and system integration.
- Proficiency with RF / microwave simulation tools (e.g., Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, CST, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment: spectrum analyzers, VNAs, power meters, oscilloscopes.
- Knowledge of jamming techniques: spot, sweep, barrage, reactive, and multitone jamming.
- Experience in power amplifier design, antenna array integration, and wideband RF front-end design.
- Familiarity with digital/RF waveform generation and software-defined radio (SDR) platforms.
- Understanding of EMC/EMI compliance and military standards (MIL-STD-461, 810).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Good communication and technical documentation skills.
- Willingness to support field trials and overseas customer demonstrations.
- Knowledge of export control and defense regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR, local DL codes) is a plus.
- Travel readiness for testing, demonstrations, and customer site support.
- Singaporean Only
- Candidates with more experience may be considered for senior roles.
Our Commitment That Goes Beyond the Norm
- An environment where you will be working on cutting-edge technologies and architectures.
- Safe space where diverse perspectives are valued, and everyone’s unique contributions are celebrated.
- Meaningful work and projects that make a difference in people’s lives.
- A fun, passionate and collaborative workplace.
- Competitive remuneration and comprehensive benefits.
