Job Description Summary

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Engineer to support the implementation of smart and sustainable utility projects. The role focuses on ensuring successful project execution through effective contractor management, rigorous testing, commissioning, and comprehensive documentation.

 

Key Job Accountabilities

 

  • Manage contractors and coordinate project activities.
  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and Integrated Testing & Commissioning (ITC).
  • Prepare As-Built Drawings and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
  • Assist with user and maintenance training sessions.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards.

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Possess Diploma in Engineering/ Logistics Operations or related field.
  • Experience in project implementation, testing, and contractor coordination preferred.
  • Good communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work on-site for testing and commissioning.

 

Reporting Relationship

 

  • The incumbent reports to Senior Manager, Smart Sustainable Utilities
