About our Line of Business – Satellite Systems  

ST Engineering Satellite Systems Pte. Ltd. (SatSys) is a joint venture founded in 2010 by ST Engineering, DSO National Laboratories, and Nanyang Technological University. Today with our expertise and comprehensive suite of satellite engineering and test facility, SatSys design and develop satellite buses to integrate with various payloads, such as Electro-Optical (EO) camera, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and more, to meet the mission objectives of our customers.

As a Senior Embedded Software System Engineer, you will be part of the Space Software group that will develop embedded software that enable the satellite to operate continuously and robustly in the harsh environment of space.

Be Part of Our Success

• Develop, review and test flight software codes in C and C++ for embedded systems.
• Work with real-time operating systems such as RTEMS.
• Develop device drivers and interfacing with sensors, actuators, and FPGAs. 
• Design embedded software architecture at the satellite system level. 
• Plan and conduct systems integration and testing of the developed CSCI leading up to satellite system validation.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent
• More than 5 years of experience in embedded system software development, RTOS and/or Linux.
• Good understanding of low-level device drivers like CAN, UART or SPI.
• Solid programming skill in C/C++.
• Good understanding of unit testing.
• Demonstrate a hunger for new knowledge and the ability to quickly source, test and demo ideas.
• Excellent communicator and able to thrive in a fluid, flexible and innovative environment
• Experience in agile software development and embedded system product development from power-on to full functional system.
• Understands hardware, able to read schematics and data sheets.
• Must be interested in space / satellites / remote imagining.
• Singaporean only.
