About our Line of Business – Satellite Systems
ST Engineering Satellite Systems Pte. Ltd. (SatSys) is a joint venture founded in 2010 by ST Engineering, DSO National Laboratories, and Nanyang Technological University. Today with our expertise and comprehensive suite of satellite engineering and test facility, SatSys design and develop satellite buses to integrate with various payloads, such as Electro-Optical (EO) camera, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and more, to meet the mission objectives of our customers.

We are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to take on the role of a Digital Electronics design engineer for space-borne data handling and communication products. You will be tasked to architect data-handling systems and design digital electronics modules for small satellites, which are innovative and yet commercially viable. You will be required to carry out FPGA development, for Microchip and Xilinx FPGAs, related to data handling, data storage and back-end signal processing applications. You are required to formulate the requirements, design specifications and verification plans for the digital electronics modules and system within satellites. You will be part of the Space Electronics team.

Qualities We Value
- Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in Digital Electronics design and/or FPGA development.
- Design experience with Microchip’s Libero IDE and/or Xilinx’s Vivado toolkit.
- Understanding of electronics components such as FPGA, ADC, DAC, Microcontroller, Memories and Transceivers, and their applications in digital systems.
- Experience in communication systems, modulation types and back-end signal processing will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with interfaces such as CAN, RS422/485, LVDS, SPI and High-Speed Serial will be an advantage.
