Assistant/Principal Business Analyst, BSS/OSS, SPTel Pte Ltd

Job Briefs:

As a business analyst, you will be joining a team of engineers and developers who are passionate about new IT systems, software development and working with the Business units to roll out new products, offerings and improvements in customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business units / product / functional team to understand new business needs
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements that encompass the end-to-end IT ecosystem
• Produce design impact analysis documentation that highlight changes in all impacted systems, and any potential changes on interface level
• Validate detailed design documents from engineers and developers, and oversee the implementation of the required changes from build, test to deployment
• Work with architect in building the solution roadmap and major changes to the stack
• Perform internal QA before releasing features to end-user for UAT
• Senior candidates may be asked to manage a team of junior business analysts and quality assurance engineers.

Requirements

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Hands-on experience with software development and design documentation (such as sequence diagram, UML, ERD)
• Solid domain knowledge on BSS applications - which include portals, CRM, Billing, Order management with deep domain knowledge in portal/CRM. Additional knowledge in resource management and provisioning will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with system integration via service bus or API management platform to external systems such as Billing, ERP, Payment Gateway and Enterprise Warehouse and Analytics
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Ability to articulate technical details to different group of people within the organization
• Familiar with standard frameworks such as TOGAF, TMF SID, eTOM and TAM
• Knowledge in fixed service provider products (MetroE, L2/L3 , Internet services, Managed Network/Security) and PaaS productization will be an added advantage
