About our Business – Satellite Systems

ST Engineering Satellite Systems Pte. Ltd. (SatSys) is a joint venture founded in 2010 by ST Engineering, DSO National Laboratories, and Nanyang Technological University. Today with our expertise and comprehensive suite of satellite engineering and test facility, SatSys design and develop satellite buses to integrate with various payloads, such as Electro-Optical (EO) camera, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and more, to meet the mission objectives of our customers.

You will be involved in Maintenance, Integration, and Test activities across different satellite projects. The team will be exposed to various fields of engineering and are responsible for understanding the different subsystems on the satellite. The team will also be responsible for assembling and integrating mechanical components for Space applications to meet the Integration and Testing requirements.

 

Be Part of Our Success

  • Assemble and integrate mechanical components for Space applications in accordance with technical specification and procedures.
  • Carry out routine maintenance of mechanical ground support and test equipment.
  • Assist engineers in functional testing of Space applications in accordance with technical specification and procedures.
  • Assist engineers in various Assembly, Integration & Test taskings.
  • Assist engineers in compiling technical findings/data for recording and documentation.
  • Assist engineers in In-country/overseas system level test activities.

 

Qualities We Value

  • Knowledge in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in mechanical design involving using CAD, such as NX Unigraphics, and machining using conventional milling and drilling equipment will be an advantage.
  • Good capability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface with the team.
  • Good interpersonal skills and team player
