Job Description

  • Oversees Supply Chain Operation to ensure effective functioning of activities which include goods receipt, storage, quality control, picking, packing, issue and despatch
  • Leads the team to attain the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Turn Around Time (TAT) for each abovementioned  function
  • Ensures the accuracy of warehouse inventories and transactions
  • Plans and manages daily Supply Chains operations to ensure activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in compliance with procedures
    • Compliance with Company security procedures for safe storage of goods
    • Ensuring licenses and certificates are renewed in time
  • Prepares and participates in audits by relevant authorities, suppliers and customers, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions where necessary
  • Investigates reported cases of stock discrepancies / damages and initiates the required corrective and preventive actions
  • Implements continuous improvement processes to increase the productivity and to optimise the use of resources
  • Be responsible for the Safety and Welfare of the staff
    • Ensures all machines and equipment are operational and operated safely
    • Performs pre-job risk assessment prior to the start of any new work activity or project
  • Engages customers and stakeholders in building mutually beneficial relationships, service support and performance
  • Performs any other tasks as assigned by the Director (Ops/SC) / Ops Manager

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma/Bachelor Degree in engineering or supply chain related discipline
  • more than 5 years of experience in supplier management experience/related experience
