Job Description:
We are seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager to join our Finance Business Partnering team. This role supports financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, project financial reviews, tender evaluations, and business performance analysis to provide timely insights for management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly closing, financial reporting, and review of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and net working capital management.
- Prepare management reports, variance analysis, forecasts, budgets, 5-year plans, and business performance commentary.
- Monitor management reporting KPIs and financial targets to ensure alignment with business outcomes.
- Partner business and operations teams on tenders, project costing, pricing analysis, financial modelling, investment evaluation, and business case review.
- Present financial performance, key variances, risks, and opportunities to senior management at business meetings.
- Support audit, tax, GST, statutory, and compliance matters, including preparation of schedules, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and follow-up actions.
- Leverage AI, digital tools, and automation to improve reporting efficiency, analysis quality, and finance workflow productivity.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, FP&A, business controlling, or finance business partnering.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in project costing, tender evaluation, financial modelling, business case review, or investment analysis will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP, Hyperion, or similar systems is preferred.
- Working knowledge of AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, to support workflow automation and productivity improvements, with the ability to validate outputs and apply sound professional judgement.
- Possess strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
