Assistant Principal Engineer, IT Support

Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Setting up accounts for new users
- IT assets management and other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
- Min 2 years of IT related experience
- Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication ability
- In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks such as server virtualisation, network, security, backup, software and hardware
- Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Keen to learn, explore, disciplined and responsible. Able to think 'out-of-the-box' and have an aptitude for innovation and problem solving
