This is an individual contributor position, and you will work closely with the pre-sales team and industry partners to engage the customers, frame their business challenges, and contextualized our cloud solution to not only solve these challenges, but maximize customer value through the adoption of cloud technology. 

 

You know the public sector competitive landscape well and is expected to develop the public sector Go-to-Market Plan with focus on migration, applications modernisation, and managed services opportunities for Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC) and Government Private Cloud (GPC). You ought to have experience in bid management for public sector tender and proposals viz. ITT, ITQ, RFP, RFQ and pro-active proposals. 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement sales strategy 
    • Drive sales order target and the overall margin of deals in the public sector account coverage 
    • Account planning, including identifying and documenting clients’ organizational structure, IT initiatives, applications migration and modernization needs 
    • Analyse sales and customers data collected to identify market trends and provide insights on public sector migration and apps modernization to GCC / GPC. to the senior management via regular review meetings
    • Leverage your network of senior executive relationships to bring in new business
    • Create lead generation plans to build sales opportunity pipeline for near term (12 months), mid-term (24 months) and long term (36 months) to accurately forecast sales opportunities via pipeline report
    • Manage individual revenue pipeline to maximize all new business opportunities
    • Manages inbound and outbound sales calls and client facing meetings to sell cloud solutions, quote prices, provide product information and build relationships with customers
    • Identify and assess sales opportunities, develop, and present creative and cost competitive proposals that will increase the odds of closing sale
    • Manage preparation of bid documents and proposals
    • Present Cloud Products and Services to new public sector accounts
  • Manage customer relationships
    • Maintain on-going liaison with customers for easier communication
    • Develop customers relationships with past and potential clients
    • Coordinate communication of new products and/or service introduction, features, benefits, and prices to customers.
    • Drive optimum servicing of accounts and timely resolution of potential problem areas.
    • Provide experienced knowledge and/or develop competency on various customer relationship and sales management.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEMS or equivalent business experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with selling PaaS, IaaS and SaaS or Cloud-based business solutions to large enterprise customers.
  • Prior work experience in a Sales position working with end-to-end cloud adoption lifecycle covering discovery and assessment of cloud readiness, applications migration and platform modernization, design, build and operate secure hybrid and multi-cloud and managed services.
  • You have cloud fundamental knowledge on Amazon AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
    • Cloud: Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, FaaS products and solutions
  • Broad Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance: Identity management, security monitoring, various compliance frameworks, and a good understanding of core security concepts and processes as it relates to securing Cloud technologies
  • Understand Hybrid Cloud Solution, Migration, Apps Modernization and Managed Services, DevSecOps Solution, Cloud Ops Automation and Cloud Resell. 
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the IT industry with the last 3 years on Cloud Solution with strong knowledge of the Cloud Native Solution and Cloud Service Provider ecosystems
  • Has successfully close public sector deal size in migration, apps modernization and managed services of >$10m would be favorable
